Lamborn Applauds Increased Sanctions on Iran

Congressman Doug Lamborn issued the following statement regarding the Department of the Treasury's newly released sanctions on Iran:

"I applaud the Treasury Department's sanctions on organizations and individuals that support Iran's ballistic missile program. It is a welcome change to have an Administration that is aligned with the will of the American people regarding national security. Iran's recent ballistic missile tests are in blatant violation of UN Security Council resolutions and threaten our allies in the region. I intend to do everything I can to work with the Administration to send a clear message to Iran: terrorist support and human rights violations will no longer go unpunished."

Congressman Lamborn introduced similar Iran sanctions legislation this week with Republican Israel Caucus Co-chairs Congressman Lance (NJ-07), Congressman Roskam (IL-06), and Congressman Zeldin (NY-01).
