U.S. Senator Steve Daines today released the following statement after the U.S. Department of Treasury, under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump, announced new sanctions against Iran:

"It is our duty to hold Iran's feet to the fire. America has new leadership that won't tolerate the world's leading state sponsor of terror acting as an aggressor."
