Westerman Reacts to POTUS Address to Joint Session of Congress

Date: Feb. 28, 2017
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Bruce Westerman (AR-04) issued the following statement Tuesday (February 28) after attending President Donald Trump's first address to a joint session of Congress:

"The President tonight brought us his vision for lower taxes, job growth through a less burdensome regulatory environment, and improved health care options for the American people," Westerman said. "Congress must work together -- with the President and our colleagues on the right and left -- to execute the will of the American public. They elected us to disrupt the system and start working for everyday people. I believe the vision laid out tonight accomplishes that mission and I look forward to working with Speaker Ryan and President Trump to make it happen."
