Oregon's economy is slowing improving but our rural communities continue to fall behind the rest of the state. For nearly a decade, Caddy worked to enhance infrastructure on the South Coast to draw private investment and grow jobs. As Vice Chairwoman of the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay Board of Commissioners, she was instrumental in the purchase and ongoing rehabilitation of the Coos Bay rail line that connects the South Coast to the national transportation grid.

Investing in infrastructure and creating more opportunities for business to thrive is Caddy's top priority in Salem.

*Secured $10 million for continued rehabilitation of the Coos Bay rail line to keep cargo moving and industry growing.
*Helped obtain state and federal funding for critical dredging projects to keep Oregon's ports open and safe.
*Led the effort to create the Office of Small Business Assistance and help job creators cut through red tape.
*Supported efforts to improve industrial land availability across the state.
