Strickland for Senate Releases New Web Video "Say Anything'

Press Release

Date: Oct. 12, 2016
Location: Cleveland, OH

Ahead of Ted Strickland and Senator Portman's joint appearance today in Cleveland, the Ted Strickland for Senate campaign is releasing a new web video: "Say Anything."

The spot features video footage of Senator Portman to highlight his record of self-serving dishonesty -- using Portman's own words to highlight his conflicting statements and actions on trade policy, Donald Trump, the Supreme Court and China.

From David Bergstein, Strickland Campaign Spokesman: "From Donald Trump to job-killing trade deals, Senator Portman has proven time and again that he is the kind of spineless, dishonest politician who will do anything to try and help himself and his rich and powerful friends. Senator Portman is perpetually trying to reinvent himself to further his own political ambitions, but the videotape doesn't lie -- and if Portman will say anything to help himself, he can't be trusted to stand up for hardworking Ohioans in the Senate."

The video will reach targeted voters in Ohio as part of the Strickland campaign's ongoing six-figure paid online media campaign which features a mix of search, social and digital pre-roll advertising.
