I was honored Friday to help open the new National Veterans Medical Training Simulation Center. Having the U.S. National Veterans Medical Simulation Center in Central Florida further cements our community at the epicenter of Modeling and Simulation for the United States and the World.
This 50,000 SF building adjacent to the new Lake Nona VA Hospital is a state of the art simulation learning complex that is the most advanced in the United States and will be the primary medical training facility in the field of simulation. VA medical personnel will learn advanced procedure in the learning center that features the very latest equipment including two operating rooms fully equipped along with I.C.U. emergency room and trauma units.
