Too many families and individuals in Chittenden County and across the state with good jobs live in housing that costs more than 30% of their income, leaving them inadequate resources to spend on other necessities. Nine years of working with municipalities and the state on this critical issue have shown me that we can and must keep increasing the affordable housing supply.
