Kyrsten is Willing to Stand Up for Us

Kyrsten knows that the only way we are going to fix Congress and our broken political system is to get the vast sums of secret money out of politics and shine a light with more transparency and enforcement.

Kyrsten also says it is wrong for politicians to use women's health to score political points. She fought efforts to limit women's access to birth control and stopped attempts to repeal insurance coverage for contraception.

Kyrsten also co-sponsored and helped pass the No Raise for Congress Act, which prohibits any pay raises for Members of Congress. She also believes that Members of Congress should not get paid unless they pass a budget, and her No Budget, No Pay bill passed the House earlier this year.
