Kirk: Dump Riders Attached To Veterans and Zika Funding

U.S. Senator Mark Kirk (R-Ill.), Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction and Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies (MilCon-VA), today issued the following statement:

"Americans have waited too long for Washington to pass the $74.4 billion funding bill for veterans and $1.1 billion to stop the spread of Zika. The House should drop the poison pill language so we can pass a clean bill immediately," said Senator Kirk.
