Issue Position

As a member of the Transportation Committee, I have had a front row seat to reform and policy at the MBTA. I hear constantly from neighbors, young and old, about the difficulty of getting around our neighborhood. To see real improvements in mobility, I have been working to promote equitable fare policies and improve service along the Fairmount/Indigo Line. When the MBTA considered large Fare Hikes, I lead efforts to oppose the increase, resulting in $3.1 million in savings for riders one nickel at a time.
