* Remove regulatory obstacles for small businesses
* Reduce taxes and fees
* Promote investment and innovation

Bureaucracy stifles innovation -- it's a job-killer and, unfortunately, bureaucracy, regulations, fees and taxes are on the rise. If we are going to create an economic explosion in this country, we must allow the private sector to succeed. This includes reducing the reach and intrusion of Washington, D.C. Our small businesses will be free to invest resources, hire people, buy equipment, and make long-term investments. By reducing the tax rates and eliminating red tape, we can launch thousands of new ventures across South Louisiana and strengthen our small businesses climate -- the backbone of every thriving economy in the world.
