The United States Supreme Court has upheld the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obama Care, which means repealing or eliminating Obama Care will likely not occur, but we can and I will have a Bill written within my first year to amend Obama Care to better serve the medical needs and medical treatments of our young, individuals with disabilities, and senior citizens, by allowing your doctor, not bureaucrats and insurance companies, to determine your medical needs, medical treatment, medical equipment and medical supplies. I will also require that the medical appeals process be expedited to 7 days or less regarding any and all medical decisions, so that the insurance companies can't prolong making medical decisions that may cause irreversible sickness or possibly death. We must also improve and strengthen Medicaid and Medicare regulations to prevent and eliminate healthcare fraud. I will work with the other United States senators to improve Medicaid and Medicare regulations to prevent healthcare fraud. Healthcare fraud is estimated to cost taxpayers more than $60 billion annually according to the Heritage (heritage.com).
I will work with the other 99 United States Senators to accomplish Louisiana's and our country's agenda.
