Rep. Ryan Costello (PA-06) continued visiting and hearing from local businesses that are working to strengthen our communities, making stops yesterday at QVC and HomeNet Automotive.

Costello Speaks at QVC Chester County Food Bank Ribbon Cutting

QVC and the Chester County Food Bank hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the mobile food bank, which will provide locally sourced produce for those in need.

"QVC has partnered with the Chester County Food Bank to efficiently and thoughtfully fill a need for food here in Chester County," Rep. Costello said. "I was proud to be part of the ribbon cutting ceremony for a partnership that harnesses local resources to help those in need."

It is of critical importance that we provide food for Pennsylvanians and individuals across the world who are not self-sufficient or do not have access to proper nutrition. As part of this effort, I cosponsored and voted for the Global Food Security Act, which would address global food shortages and malnutrition through a U.S.-led strategy.

Costello Speaks to Packed House at HomeNet

Costello later visited and toured HomeNet Automotive in Exton. As we continue to participate and compete in an increasingly technology-based world, businesses like HomeNet Auto, which are thought leaders in innovation are critical to bringing and keeping jobs in our area.

Costello gave a legislative update to a full room of HomeNet Auto employees and participated in a Q&A session, where he discussed the importance of STEM, developing cutting edge automotive technology, and other transportation issues, such as driverless cars.
