The importance of working hard for a better economy can not be understated, but we need to make sure that the economy is working for everyone. Too often I hear people in the St. Cloud area talk about how they have to work 2 or 3 jobs just to pay the rent and put food on the table, all without employer benefits. Too often I hear local small business owners say they struggle with unnecessary regulation and providing quality health insurance for their employees.

Minnesota needs an economy…

where businesses are competitive and innovation is encouraged.
where the permitting process is streamlined and compliance review is straightforward.
where workers are protected in and out of the workplace and receive livable wages.
where companies are rewarded for keeping jobs from going overseas.
