Petition: Do No Harm

Statement

The Religious Freedom Restoration Act - or "RFRA" - was intended to protect religious liberty for all Americans when Congress passed it unanimously in 1993.

But that's not what is happening in 2016.

Although RFRA was passed with good intentions, it has been exploited over the last two decades. And today, it's being used to deny women health care services, limit protections for LGBT Americans, and allow discrimination against minority groups.

RFRA needs to be restored to its original purpose; protecting religious freedom for everyone, not eroding the civil rights of Americans.

Sign our petition: Pass the Do No Harm Act!

Our Constitution gives all Americans the right to religious freedom - as long as it does not infringe on another person's fundamental rights. The Do No Harm Act makes it clear that the Religious Freedom Restoration Act cannot be used to discriminate.

Add your name to support the Do No Harm Act so everyone has equal protection under the law!
