Adriano Espaillat will break down barriers by aggressively combating skyrocketing college costs, which have left Americans with more student debt than credit card debt. Adriano believes that public colleges and universities should be free for every student. And that we must tackle the student debt crisis head-on by: creating a 5-year moratorium on loan repayment after graduation, reducing college debt interest rates, capping payments to no more than 5% of income, and expanding loan forgiveness programs for those who serve distressed communities.
