There is not enough focus on mental health in this country. It can take months for someone to even obtain an appointment with a mental health care professional. Focusing on mental health will help keep people off the streets, help reduce numbers in overcrowded jails, reduce gun violence, and help reduce the number of people addicted to drugs. Mental health services must be fully funded and easily available.
