Today, U.S. Representative Candice Miller (MI-10) applauded the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's announcement that it will award the Port Huron Fire Department a $21,252 grant to help with operations and safety.
"Our local firefighters put their lives on the line every day to protect ours," said Miller. "However, shrinking budgets have made it difficult for them to acquire the resources they need to safety and effectively do their jobs. This grant from the Department of Homeland Security will help Port Huron to continue to protect our communities."
