Presidential Rallies in Salt Lake City

Statement

Now that we are moving into springtime, more sunshine is ahead.

The state filing period has ended and now there are four candidates vying for this seat in the House, 2nd Congressional District. There are two republicans, one Constitutionalist and I am the Democrat. Therefore, I do not need to run a primary.

This week has been busy with the presidential rallies in SLC and our Caucus night. We attended the two Bernie Sanders rallies reaching out and talking to the Democratic constituents and getting volunteers. As you might know, Hillary Clinton did not come to Utah this week, but I met her last spring when she was here. I would be happy with either Democratic President.

I met with the Native American Tribal Leaders. We share many views on the issues. I will defend the Affordable Care Act, while addressing parts to be improved. The land in this beautiful state attracts over 5.5 million tourist a year, which supports 120,000 jobs for Utahns. I stand for protecting the beauty and our jobs.

Financially, we had a good quarter, but not good enough. On March 31st I have to file with the FEC and I am $18,540 short of my goal. Please help out so that together we can TAKE CHARGE AND MAKE CHANGE! Each $5-$10 or more donation adds up.

We had a great anniversary celebration organized by close friends. I fell in love with Roberto years ago when he asked me what were my dreams and goals in life. He then said that he would help me accomplish them, and years later, he is still true to his word. I believe in love. I believe in marriage!

Thank-you for reading this letter, and thanks for your support.

Have a very Happy Easter!
