Issue Position

As a father, each day I look into my sons' eyes and understand the importance of economic opportunities and education…but most of all, like every parent, I want my kids to have a quality of life that is better than what I have today. I want them to have choices that allow them to be successful.

I am committed to improving the quality of life for every one of our kids by improving our infrastructure, addressing challenges with education and finding every opportunity for them to succeed.

As a lifelong resident of Gallup, I hope my kids choose to live here and raise their own families. I know my responsibility as a son, a husband and a father is to do everything in my power to create a future for our families that opens doors that historically may have been shut, that creates opportunity and dispels disparity. To say "change is coming" is a great slogan, but the truth is that we must provide "Real Solutions for all New Mexicans." That is a promise I can commit to everyone in our district.

In my spare time, I am always active in the community. I am currently a member of the Elks, New Mexico Amigo's, Rotary, and U.S. Banks. My involvement in the community and my commitment to serving as your New Mexico state senator are the best ways I know to serve the community in a positive way.
