Congressman David B. McKinley, P.E., (WV-1) announced that West Virginia University will receive a grant in the amount of $299,992.00 from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for its Telehealth Network Program. This program offers important technological tools that include videoconferencing and telemedicine that connect rural health centers with necessary medical professionals and doctors in different parts of the state.

"All too often people who live in rural communities in West Virginia don't have access to the health care services they need. This grant will bolster this important program and ultimately allow more people to receive the quality care they deserve," said McKinley.
