"Nearly 20 years ago, my wife and I relied on the services of Planned Parenthood to confirm the great news that we were going to have our first child. I continue to be a staunch supporter of the effort to protect federal funding for Planned Parenthood so that it can continue to offer health care options, education and high-quality services to women and men in our communities and nationwide."

Mt. Baker Planned Parenthood, founded in 1969, serves men, women , and teens of Whatcom, Skagit and San Juan counties. They provide affordable reproductive healthcare and education, including STI testing and a variety family planning services. The Mt. Baker Planned Parenthood served 12,000 people in 2014 alone.

Larsen is a long-time supporter of Planned Parenthood. On Thursday, Larsen signed on to a resolution to disband the Select Investigative Panel on Planned Parenthood, which has spent more than $300,000 taxpayer dollars investigating the organization.
