Congressman Norcross endorsed by Human Rights Campaign

Press Release

Today Congressman Donald Norcross proudly announced his endorsement by the Human Rights Campaign.

"Around the country, the LGBT community continues to face discrimination and are unfairly targeted by hateful legislation. The Human Rights campaign has done amazing work to educate and organize people on behalf of LGBT Americans. As a member of the Congressional Equality Caucus, I will continue to stand with the HRC to ensure equal rights, repeal discriminatory laws and stop hate violence," said Congressman Norcross.

As the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization, HRC envisions an America where LGBT people are ensured of their basic equal rights, and can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community.

"Congressman Norcross is a true champion for the LGBT community and full federal equality for all people. He was a proud supporter of Marriage Equality in the State Senate and has been a leader on non-discrimination protections, including working to ensure LGBT youth are safe and supported in schools," said HRC Senior Vice President of Policy and Political Affairs JoDee Winterhof, "We are proud to support Donald Norcross in his re-election campaign and hope voters in New Jersey's First Congressional District will again stand up and support a true champion for fairness and equality."
