Issue Position

Carol is proud to be running for the seat of retiring Representative Naomi Jakobsson, a supporter of marriage equality for same-sex couples and a champion of civil rights for LGBT people. Carol will continue in that tradition, working for equal rights in education, public accommodations, employment, housing and credit for all people regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Carol will vigorously defend against any efforts to repeal equal marriage rights for all Illinois residents.
