Brad has been a leader in fighting for lower taxes throughout his career. He has fought tax hikes in his own county and in Springfield as a State Representative. He stood firm against Democratic efforts in 2014 to extend the temporary income tax hike. Brad also opposes creating a progressive Illinois income tax.
Brad supports Governor Rauner's plan to freeze local property taxes while providing local units of government relief from costly mandates and a reduction in worker's compensation costs.
Brad opposes all fee increases that take money out of the hands of small businesses and puts it in the hands of Springfield bureaucrats.
