Flores Response to West Explosion Findings

Statement

U.S. Representative Bill Flores (R-Texas) issued the following statement regarding the Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and State Fire Marshal's Office announcement regarding the fertilizer plant explosion in West:

"It is extremely disturbing to learn that the fertilizer plant explosion in West was not accidental and has been ruled incendiary. The explosion injured hundreds and claimed 15 lives, 12 of which were first responders. There are now many questions that need to be answered for the sake of the community and the lives we lost. The citizens of West have been through so much over the last three years and deserve incredible credit for their tenacity in the face of adversity."
