Issue Position: Wasteful Government Spending & Overreach

Issue Position

If you like President Obama and Hillary Clinton's big government overreach, then you're not going to like me. This is the most important election in the history of our state. If Republicans gain a majority in the House, we might just have the opportunity to see real fiscal discipline and smaller government.

In many ways, our legislature is addicted to spending. They truly think that by spending more today, we will be able to spend less in the future. They also believe that we can spend more than we have, without repercussions. It just does not make sense. And this attitude of overspending will not change if the American people do not demand their elected officials to do the same thing that we individuals and families do…live within their means.
