Local Firefighters Rally Behind Pete Aguilar

Statement

Congressman Pete Aguilar has received the endorsements of the San Bernardino County Professional Firefighters Association (Local 935), the Rancho Cucamonga Professional Firefighters Association (Local 2274) and the Redlands Professional Firefighters Association (Local 1354), his campaign announced today.

"Pete Aguilar has demonstrated a commitment to public safety by always responding to the needs of firefighters," said Jim Grigoli, President of the San Bernardino County Professional Firefighters Association (Local 935). He continued, "Pete's dedication to seeing we have the tools to keep our community safe makes him the best choice to represent all of us in Congress."

"When we first endorsed Pete Aguilar two years ago, we said he was more than just a 'good choice,' but that he was the 'right choice," said Mike McCliman, President of the Rancho Cucamonga Professional Firefighters Association (Local 2274). He added, "That statement remains true, and we're proud to stand by Pete again."

Commenting on the endorsements, Congressman Aguilar said: "These brave men and women put their lives on the line everyday to ensure the safety of Inland Empire residents. They exemplify all that's best about our community, and I am extremely humbled and gratified to have their continued support."

Pete Aguilar represents California's 31st congressional district. He is a strong advocate for economic growth and fairness in the Inland Empire and a leader who reaches across party lines to deliver results for San Bernardino County's middle class.
