I'd like to congratulate my friend Ted Cruz on a hard-fought campaign. Ted is a principled conservative who elevated the debate at this critical juncture for our country. Looking forward, it's important that Republicans don't repeat mistakes of the past by staying home on election day just because one's preferred candidate didn't receive the nomination. Hillary Clinton wants to double down on President Obama's failed policies, and we simply cannot allow her radical agenda into the White House. It's no secret that I was a Ted Cruz supporter, but Donald Trump is now the presumptive nominee. I've said all along that I would support our party's nominee, and stand by that. #NeverHillary
