U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp announced three federal grant awards totaling $198,000 to support economic development planning in communities across North Dakota.

"Advanced planning for community development pays dividends well into the future," said Heiktamp. "When public and local businesses work together, great things can be done to enhance communities across our state to make sure they stay strong and safe. These federal investments will provide communities the federal funding needed to create an economic frame work that will drive job growth, higher incomes, and stable development."
