Randy has become a nationally recognized champion of our men and women in uniform and one of our nation's most forceful advocates for a strong national defense. As Chairman of the Armed Services Seapower and Projection Forces Subcommittee, he is influential every year in writing large sections of the yearly defense budget -- the only bill in Congress to be consistently passed in a timely fashion by an overwhelmingly bipartisan vote year after year.
