At the weekly Republican Leadership Press Conference, Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins (KS-02) discussed the House of Representative's unanimous vote to condemn ISIS' atrocities against religious minorities as genocide.

"Yesterday, the House of Representatives unanimously voted to condemn the atrocities committed by ISIS against religious and ethnic minorities as crimes against humanity.

Every day, ISIS continues to perpetrate horrifying acts of violence against the innocent.

It is not enough simply to recognize what is going on. We need action and we need it now. We need White House leadership that is concerned with protecting American values abroad and securing the safety of American lives at home.

The House has made clear its position -- now the President must choose to defend the principles of this nation at home and abroad."
