Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Tim Huelskamp (KS-01) announced that his offices have now helped more than 1,000 Kansas Veterans through his robust constituent services operation. Congressman Huelskamp has emphasized a culture of deep appreciation for Veterans across his five offices and stressed the need to pay great attention to helping Veterans in every way possible.

Who has handled most of those Veterans cases? Congressman Tim Huelskamp's expert on constituent services for Veterans is Allison Reed, who has been working in Huelskamp's office from his first year representing the Big First District.

"As the nephew of seven Veterans, it is an honor to be in a position to help so many Veterans," Huelskamp said. "The VA's corruption and dysfunction has kept us busy, but we do our best to make sure our brave Veterans receive the care they were promised."

Huelskamp and his staff help Veterans and their families who are experiencing long wait times to get the care they deserve, utilize the Choice Program to access health care closer to their homes, get replacements for lost combat medals, and even pursue missing or late benefit payments.

On his resolve to continue his work for Veterans, Huelskamp said, "As long as there are Kansas Veterans in need, I'm going to fight to honor their sacrifice for our nation."
