Governor Greg Abbott today issued a statement following the shooting at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
"My heart goes out to all those affected by the tragedy that unfolded this morning at Lackland Air Force Base," said Governor Abbott. "Our military heroes put their lives on the line both at home and abroad, and today's tragedy is yet another reminder of the sacrifices our men and women in uniform make daily. Cecilia and I ask that all Texans join us in keeping these military members, their families and the Lackland community in their prayers during this difficult time."
