U.S. Representative Randy Hultgren (IL-14) released a statement following the passing of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia:

"Antonin Scalia is celebrated as a brilliant legal mind whose jurisprudence demonstrated his staunch defense of the Constitution and its correct interpretation. His quick wit and wisdom will long be remembered, as will his steadfast defense of the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all Americans, including unborn children. My prayers are with his family and his friends during this time of mourning."
