Takai Mourns Passing of Marines in Helicopter Crash Off Oahu

Today, Congressman Mark Takai released the following statement on the announcement of the passing of the 12 Marines involved in last week's helicopter crash off the coast of Oahu:

"I am deeply saddened to hear of this news and keep the friends and families of these brave Marines in my thoughts and prayers. As a member of the Hawaii National Guard, I know firsthand the risks our brave servicemen and women take when they answer the call of duty. We must never forget the sacrifices our troops make to protect our freedoms. I offer my sincerest sympathies to all those touched by this tragic accident." Takai concluded.
