Price Statement on Obama Keystone Rejection

Statement

Date: Nov. 6, 2015
Location: Washington, DC
Issues: Oil and Gas

Congressman Tom Price, M.D. (GA-06) issued the following statement after President Obama officially announced his rejection of the Keystone Pipeline:

"Today, the President further ingrained himself into the will of his political handlers while rejecting the will of the American people. The Keystone Pipeline was supported by a large bipartisan majority in both Chambers of Congress. I cannot fathom why a President would favor radical environmental groups over American jobs and economic vitality. It is my hope that we will elect a future President that responds with accord to both Congress and the American people."
