Instrumental in passing the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (H.R. 803), which streamlined federal government programs that train workers with new skills. Brett managed to find a way to eliminate duplicative government programs and provide even more direct skills training to workers, which helps them find better jobs. The bill was signed in to law in July, after passing the House 415-6.
