U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders on Friday issued the following statement after the State Department revealed that 22 emails sent through Hillary Clinton's personal home computer server contained "top secret" information that may not be made public:

"As I said at the first Democratic debate, there is a legal process in place which should proceed and not be politicized. The voters of Iowa and this nation deserve a serious discussion of the issues facing them."
