Cook said, "I'm opposed to President Obama's nuclear deal with Iran because I oppose the lifting of sanctions without receiving significant concessions from the Iranian regime. The United States needs to reserve the right to maintain and enforce existing sanctions. This bill will prevent the President from unilaterally lifting sanctions on those who do business with terrorists."
