Energy prices are hurting our pocketbooks. High energy costs affect the price of gasoline or heating fuel, but they also raise the price of food, electricity and consumer goods. Patrick believes that we must work to bring down energy prices by utilizing America's ingenuity and vast natural resources.

We have enough natural gas to meet our energy needs for 90 years. Patrick believes that we should tap into this incredible bounty with expanded drilling off-shore and on federal lands. We need to have an all-of-the-above energy strategy that makes the most of oil, gas, wind, water, solar, nuclear -- and any sources of energy we may not yet have discovered.

Patrick supports building the Keystone XL pipeline to increase production of American energy resources. He believes we have the capability to be dependent on only North American energy, and stop sending our money to Middle Eastern dictators who despise our way of life.

Finally, Patrick knows we can focus on energy production and environmental protection simultaneously. Any increased energy production must be conducted in such a way that we are good stewards of our planet.
