Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member Sander Levin (D-MI) today issued the following statement on President Obama's State of the Union address:
"The President struck the right balance between a vision for our nation's future where we tackle challenges with confidence, not fear, and the specific action items that will create opportunity for middle class families and maintain America's leadership in the world. His comments about democracy, public life and our political system were an important call to each of us to ensure that the average person feels that their voice matters."
