Governor McCrory Encourages North Carolinians to Prepare for Winter

Governor Pat McCrory cautioned North Carolinians that winter returns in earnest this weekend and it appears it is going to stick this time. Governor McCrory and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) are encouraging all North Carolinians to stay safe during the winter months.
"Although weather has been warmer than usual for December, now is the time to prepare for colder weather and potentially dangerous conditions," said Governor McCrory. "Using basic safety precautions, people can protect themselves from avoidable dangers that may occur in winter weather."
