Issue Position: Shedding Light on Puerto Rico's Gasoducto Project

Issue Position

On April 6, 2011, I sent Freedom of Information Act requests to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and the Environmental Protection Agency for any and all information related to the Via Verde or Gasoducto project in Puerto Rico.
I asked these federal agencies to provide the names of the persons involved in the permitting process, including but not limited to individuals, lobbyists, companies, and public or private entities, the dates and content of meetings or communications that have occurred, and copies of all documents that have been submitted or reviewed. Below are copies of the letters I have sent and the responses I have received. I will continue to make documents public as I receive them.
