Cornyn Praises House Passage of Bill to Lift Crude Oil Export Ban

U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) released the following statement after the House of Representatives passed H.R. 702, a bill to lift the ban on the export of crude oil:
"Today's vote is a long overdue step in the right direction that will lower energy costs and foster job growth while helping America's allies abroad," Sen. Cornyn said. "I applaud the members of the Texas delegation for their hard work in getting this passed, and look forward to moving this legislation through the Senate."
