Congressman Charles W. Boustany, Jr., MD, (R-South Louisiana) issued the following statement congratulating Congressman Kevin Brady (R-TX) on being selected as the next Chairman of the House Ways & Means Committee following the election of former Chairman Paul D. Ryan as Speaker of the House.

Boustany said: "Kevin is a thoughtful leader who will make an excellent Chairman of the House Ways & Means Committee. I look forward to working with Chairman Brady to ensure the Ways & Means Committee remains a policy-driven, problem-solving committee pursuing solutions that will move our economy forward."
