Year after year, the downstate politicians try to skim more state school aid from Upstate schools and divert that money to New York City. Fred will be a powerful voice for our local schools, and will fight to make sure that our schools get funding we need to help students learn--and help hold the line on local property taxes. And he'll fight to finally eliminate the budget-cutting Gap Elimination Adjustment that unfairly cheats our local school districts.
