Issues: Business and Consumers Taxes
Small businesses are the lifeblood of our economy. I am committed to helping entrepreneurs innovate and businesses grow by keeping taxes low, controlling government spending, reducing unnecessary federal regulations and streamlining the rest. As a member of the Ways and Means Committee, one of my top priorities in Congress is to make the tax code simpler and fairer for individuals, families, and employers. Tax simplification would strengthen the economy providing for greater economic certainty, more jobs, and bigger paychecks for hardworking Americans.
