Congressman Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) today issued the following statement regarding the United States District Court for the District of Columbia's ruling in United States House of Representatives v. Burwell:
"This court decision is a victory for the rule of law. The origination clause speaks very clearly. The power of the purse lies with the House of Representatives.

"As a former constitutional law professor you'd think President Obama would know better," Blackburn said.
