Issue Position

Maintaining a well-functioning transportation system and securing our nation's critical infrastructure are two of the most important responsibilities of the federal government. Our infrastructure is essential to our country's economic prosperity and global competitiveness. I am committed to meeting the specific transportation needs of East Tennessee, which includes funding for the Chickamauga Lock. The Chickamauga Lock is a vital piece of infrastructure in our region, with many important businesses depending upon it. I will continue to fight to prioritize and increase funding for the Chickamauga Lock.
